Summer Day Camp is for children entering 1st – 7th grade in the fall of 2023. We will not accept children that are TK or K in the fall of 2023. 

 

  • DATES: June 19th – July 21st, 2023

  • HOURS: 9:00 am – 4:15 pm

  • Away Camp (6th-8th): July 4th - 7th

We will arrive at Hope around 3 pm on July 14th. If needed, arrangements can be made to pick up your children from the campsite. 

  • NO SDC on Tuesday, July 4th. Please enjoy the holiday with your friends and family!

  • The closing ceremony and carnival will be on Saturday, July 22nd.

  • Lunch is NOT INCLUDED with tuition (TBD)

  • Weekly Field Trips to places such as Happy Hollows, Oakland Zoo, Six Flags, Great America, and more! Field trip days typically leave campus at 9:30am and arrive on campus before the end of camp.

  • Chaperones are allowed but will need to pay for their own tickets upon arrival.

Registration Fee and Tuition

(Please pay with two separate checks addressed to Hope Lutheran Church for each child)

 

Students Entering 1st-5th Grade

$150 Non-refundable Registration fee (Date check: 04/14/2023) + $1000 Tuition (Date check: 05/01/2023)

 

Students Entering 6th-7th Grade

$150 Non-refundable Registration fee (Date check: 04/14/2023) + $1350 Tuition (Date check: 05/01/2023)

 

*Church members of Hope Lutheran Church receive a 10% discount on tuition.

EX:

$150 Registration, $900 Tuition (1st - 5th)

$150 Registration, $1,215 Tuition (6th - 7th)

**Tuition is a flat rate.  No part of the fees will be refunded for partial attendance, absences, vacations, illness, etcetera. 

 

Extended Care

Extended Care is a flat rate. If your child is dropped off or picked up during the duration of our Extended Care hours, you will be charged the fee for that day. Extended Care payments can be made in advance or you will be billed at the end of each week. An additional dollar will be added for every minute after 6:00pm.

 

Morning Care (7:30am-8:45am $30/week; $6/day) 

After Care (4:15-6:00pm $45/week; $9/day)
 

Registration Information

Priority registration goes to:

  • Church members

  • Students previously enrolled in SDC

  • Students previously enrolled in Hope Day School & siblings

Registration for church members ONLY will open on Sunday, March 12th @ 9:00am. The password to access the document for church members will be given at our 9:00am and 10:30am services on Sunday, March 12th. Any non-church members that registers during this time period will forfeit their application. 

All others will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

STEPS TO ENROLL IN SDC 2023:

  1. Complete the online student registration, which opens on Saturday, March 18th @ 8:00pm SDC 2023 Student Registration

  2. Complete the physical registration packet upon acceptance. You will hear back from us within a week. Registration will be available here and in the church office beginning March 18th.

  1. Attach two separate checks (check or money order only): 

  2. $150.00 non-refundable registration fee (dated 04/14/2023)

  3. Tuition (post-dated 05/01/2023) [tuition information is listed above]

  4. Hand-deliver completed registration packet and fees to the main office of Hope Lutheran Church, 55 San Fernando Way, Daly City NO LATER than 4:00pm on Friday April 14th, 2023 or else your space will be forfeited. 

  5. E-mail a digital photo of your child to sdc@hopedalycity.org by May 1st. 
    Subject Line: “Child’s Name (Fall 2023 Grade Level) ID Picture” EX: “Corey Chang (2nd) ID Picture”

 

**Acceptance emails will be sent out one week after the registration date. Space is limited. To reserve a space for your child, online registration, and all fees must be submitted on time.
